March Meeting Highlights

  • Timed event cattle run through in the morning

  • Mandatory Check in 12-3pm

  • Potentially school visits & special needs rodeo from 1-3pm - more to come on this

  • Mandatory Contestant Meeting 3:30 - 4pm

  • Performance at 7pm

  • all rough stock and barrels, bottom 5 in MTR and O40 and bottom 7 in all other events.

  • Dance to follow performance

  • Saturday

  • 9am Slack

  • Round 1 Slack

  • -Contestants who were not up in performance Friday night.

  • After Round 1 is complete, there will be a short intermission to draw stock for Round 2.

  • Round 2 Slack

  • -Bottom 5 and Top 5 in MTR and O40 and bottom 7 in all other events (not including rough stock and barrels)

  • Annual Membership Meeting 1 hour after the end of slack.

  • Performance at 7pm

  • all rough stock and barrels, middle 5 in MTR and O40 and top 8 in all other events.

  • Dance to follow performance

  • Sunday

  • all rough stock and barrels, top 5 in MTR and O40 and top 4 in Year End Standings and top 4 in Finals Average in all other events.

  • Added Money - $4,500 added money in each event and each end in Team Roping/Mixed Team Roping

  • Entry Fee was voted on last fall at the annual meeting to be $100/round and $100 for the average. Moving to 3 rounds puts the entry fee at $400. These entry fees are non-negotiable as they were voted on by the membership last annual meeting.

  • Contestants will not be able to pick and choose performances/rounds to ride in.

  • No invites will be extended this year to fill events. Contestants must enter the finals at the posted time and have competed in an MRA first sanctioned rodeo as an MRA member. We will take the top 15 entered contestants in each event.
